Description
Belgium Model 1924 Short bayonet for model 1935 and 1936 Mauser rifles. The MRD is 17.5mm so could be for the carbine. Original flat black/parkerised finished double edged blade shortened to 340mm. Hilt and crossguard are chromed. Scabbard has grey finish and is shortened to 359mm. Serial/regiment number 852.GIe matching as is stamped to crossguard and scabbard frog stud. In very good condition with no damage. (Reference WW 97, JN 18/3 and K 608)
