Description
British Prototype EM2 bayonet, 3rd type. Made at Enfield with converted pommel with flash hider prongs forward of the muzzle ring. Ricasso marked “No. 7 Mk1/L” indicating a conversion. Scabbard is No.5.
This bayonet is originally from the John Watts collection and is the actual bayonet illustrated in British and Commonwealth Bayonets at B307 on page 249 (Reference BCB B307 pages 248 and 249)
