Description
This British (Spike) bayonet No. 4 Mk III features the fabricated socket which differs from the previous models and was solely manufactured by James Lucas Ltd of Birmingham. The blade of this piece is actually a Sten Mk1 blade as indicated by the numeral “I” on the blade. (Reference Priest page 111)
The scabbard is the Mk I tapered steel body with the alloy mouthpiece. This bayonet and scabbard are in excellent condition for this model. (Reference BCB B269).
