Description
Originally a Pattern 1860 short rifle yataghan sword bayonet bushed for the Martini-Henry, However, the muzzle ring bush is missing but pin remains. Conversion undertaken at RSAF Enfield in March 1885 (3/85 to ricasso). Release button is working and spring secured by screw. No scabbard. (Reference WW 753 and BCB B185 and pages 142-144)
