Description
This M1867 sword bayonet (1st Model) made by Gerbruder Weyersberg in Solingen-Hohschiede is in good condition with overall patina. BL is 555mm, OA is 678mm and MR 18mm. Scabbard leather is hard and one strong crease towards chape and stitching seam is open, steel locket and chape. There are numbers to each side of the crossguard; “39B.871” and “58943”. Also there is the number “8B over 360” to the ball of the scabbard chape. (Reference WW 151 (Left), K – Vol 2 #442, JN 36/3 and RCDE Page 77).
