Description
Danish Model 1915 Bayonet for Krag Jorgensen rifle. A T-back blade with a single piece grip construction with wood grips secured by two brass rivets/pins.
Serial number “103986” to crossguard and possible regimental numbers to pommel “1R over 563” alongside the inspection mark of Crown over 17. Changed from stamped out “15B over 263” on other side of pommel.
Scabbard is brown leather with steel locket and chape. All in very good condition for this scarce bayonet. (Reference WW 160, JN 37/3 and K 327)
