Description
French Model 1842 sabre bayonet, manufactured in 1857(?), with brass hilt and steel crossguard good to very good condition. Manufacturer’s details engraved along with the date to the top/back of the proofed blade. Has full steel scabbard painted black. (Reference WW No.183, JN 68/3 and K Vol 2 #453)
