Description
Russian Model 1895 sword bayonet. A contract bayonet by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company and marked as such to the crossguard. These bayonets were manufactured 1914 – 1915.
The bayonet is in excellent condition with two very small patches of pepper pitting towards the point of the blade. This is the bayonet that is illustrated in The Bayonet Book from the Watts & White Collection. This can be seen through the mark to the blade close to the crossguard. No scabbard.
