Description
SWEDISH Model 1867/89 socket bayonet with internal coiled spring for the Remington 8mm rifle. A cruciform blade and no scabbard. No. 5179 stamped to elbow and OG CROWN over C (Carl Gustaf) and JC stamped to other side of the elbow. Regimentally marked 9.R.2.K. over rifle No. 628 on the socket. In excellent condition retaining the majority of its original heavy bluing. (Reference WW 586, JN 179/3 and K #645).
