Description

This M9 bayonet was manufactured by Qantas Products Limited of Taipei, which apparently is the same company that exported the production machinery to both Lan-Cay Co and Ontario Knife Co., using both Russian and Japanese steels. There were 8 versions of the bayonet imported by Paul Medrano. This bayonet has a black finish to the pommel and crossguard with the small fullered blade having a matt grey finish and the unusual double/false edge . The ricasso is marked on one side with “M9 over BAYONET over TAIWAN”.and the other side “MEDRANO over 5168”

The grips and scabbard are in a rich forrest green colour. The scabbard features the wire cutter system, front pouch and sharpening stone.The bayonet is in unissued condition.
