USA M1873 Trapdoor socket bayonet with US to brass disc on scabbard frog marked ” ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL ” Bayonet and scabbard in excellent condition with both retaining majority of the gloss bluing. Bayonet marked “US” to ricasso. Frog is loose from the scabbard body. (Reference Hardin No.26 Pages 43-45, WW 909, JN 203/3 and K #308)
