Description
Austrian Model 1854 Socket Bayonet with helical slot for use on the M1854 Lorenz musket. Regimental markings to socket elbow. Some areas of small pitting otherwise in good condition. No scabbard. This socket bayonet was also used widely in the US Civil War. (Reference WW 17, JN 6 – 3 and K #329)
