Description
Belgium FN Model 1924 Export Short Mauser bayonet. Heavily blued/black overall. Blade 250mm and overall 380mm. Serial no. 37353 stamped to crossguard and matched to scabbard. Both bayonet and scabbard in excellent condition. Whilst this bayonet was exported to Columbia, Paraguay and Venezuela for use on Mauser rifles and carbines this particular piece appears to have been exported to South Africa as it bears the South African marking of an “M” inside a “U”.
