Description
This British No.9 Mk1 bayonet was manufactured at the RSAF Poole in 1949. P in a circle followed by 1949 is stamped to the socket ledge. Bayonet is a matt black paint with phosphate blade in a matt black painted No.5 Mk 2 scabbard. Other markings to the socket face are V over 114 and a P. There is the Enfield “ED” logo to the plunger.
