Description
This British bayonet No. 7 Mk1 has typical Tufnel composition grips of a dark reddish colour in the No. 5 Mk 2 scabbard. One side of the ricasso is marked “No.7 Mk 1/L” and the other whilst difficult to read appears to be M/78 which is the contractors code of Elkington who made 20,000 in March 1945.
