Description

USA/American standard M11 bayonet manufactured by LAN-CAY for the EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal). The M11 designed in collaboration with the US Army’s 52nd Ordnance Division and is a specialty knife based on the M9 Bayonet.

The quick release Military Holster Gerber tool pouch and tie down attaches to the sheath/scabbard and has three chambers for storage of the Gerber EOD tool, crimpers and pliers (these contents are not included) and is marked ” US M11 EOD Tool Pac LAN-CAY Carrollton, KY “. The knife has 7 1/8” blade (18 cm) made of modified 420 stainless steel, with milled sawteeth on the spine with the mil-spec black oxide finish.  It has a textured Thermoplastic Nylon Handle (Dupont Zytel) in black. The blade ricasso is marked “EOD over M-11 over LAN-CAY” and LAN-CAY in the moulding of the scabbard, at rear, which is also made from: Dupont Zytel and has the normal wire cutter/screw driver attachment.

Bayonet and scabbard are black overall and in excellent – as issued condition. This bayonet is not the M11A1 EOD, which has a lighten blade design and was produced for the commercial market.
