Description
British Pattern 1801 2nd Model Baker sword bayonet circa 1805 until 1815 with the rounded “D” shaped knuckle guard. Would be classified as a Volunteer pattern due to the width of the blade and has no ordnance or manufacturers’ markings. Engraved number “5” to the crossguard shell. The unfullered blade has been cleaned. Whilst in quite good condition the locking latch is working but frail and shows old pitting. No scabbard. (reference WW670 and BCB B85)
