Description
British Pattern 1887 sword bayonet Mk IV for the Martin Henry rifle converted at Enfield in 1891 from a P1886 (/96 to ricasso) Enfield Martini trials bayonet. Ricasso shows the EM marking crossed out and C 91. Numerous inspection marks together with ^/WD. Bayonet is in good condition with some wear to grips.
Serial number 4867 to crossguard. There is no scabbard.. (Reference BCB B205, JN 54/3, K Vol 2 #374 and WW792).
