Description
Austrian Model 1912 knife bayonet for the Mexican Mauser rifle. Austrian manufactured by OE/WG (Osterreichische Waffenfabriks-Gesellschaft, Steyr) stamped to the ricasso. Wood grips are secured by two pins. Serial number 05768 stamped to pommel end/heel. There is also a serial number to the oval frog stud but is only partially legible. Good average condition, wear but no damage. (Reference WW 1062 as amended in 1988 and K #134)
