Description
Norwegian Model 1894 knife bayonet for the Krag Jorgensen rifle. Single edged blade (no fuller), birch grips secured by one screw bolt. Made under occupation by Germany, used by Quisling Hird & Norwegian Legion, Waffenampt proofed on cross guard. Made at Kongsberg as ricasso marked with Crowned K. Cast steel scabbard with black leather frog. Bayonet release button for rifle and scabbard work well but the frog release button is seized. Both bayonet and scabbard in very good condition without damage. (Reference WW 527, JN 151/1 and K #60)
