Description
Swiss M1863 socket bayonet for both Vetterli and Peabody rifles. Serial number 62252 to socket and Swiss Cross over “S” to socket elbow. Blade retains majority of bluing. In very good condition without scabbard. Socket is 68mm and overall is 560mm. (Reference JN 184/1 and K #315)
