Description
This British No.9 Mk1 bayonet was manufactured at the RSAF Enfield in 1950. The model details of the Enfield “ED” logo – 50 are clearly visible on the side face of the socket. Bayonet is blued overall and in a matt black painted No.5 Mk 2 scabbard. An Enfield inspection mark is visible along with other markings. There is the Enfield “ED” logo and broad arrow to the plunger. (Reference BCB B302 and Priest page 189).
