Description
Greek Model 1895/03 knife bayonet Austrian made M1895 converted for M1903 Mannlicher bayonet. Bayonet and reverse blade (250mm) polished bright. Blade and frog stud marked “OE over WG” Oesterreichische Waffenfabriks Gesellschaft in Steyr for the Austro-Hugarian forces and was later used by the Greek army. Pommel next to the release button has the Greek marking of St George fighting the dragon – Good average condition without damage but with minor pepper pitting in places. Serial number 409 Z to crossguard. Wooden grip scales secured by doomed rivits. (Reference WW 415, JN 112/3 and K 80)
