Description
Portuguese Model 1948 knife bayonet for the F.B.P. Submachine Gun. A small well dimensioned bayonet with a double edged blade. Serial no. 21778 to crossguard. Wood grips secured by two screw bolts. Bayonet (other than the blade) and scabbard are finished in a black paint which is in very good condition for this type of finish. (Reference JN 159/2)
