Description
British Pattern 1903 sword bayonet manufactured by contractor R. Mole (MOLE). Has Enfield/ RSAF Birmingham inspection marks. Manufactured/issued November 1904 ( as marked 11 ’04 to the blade ricasso). Both bayonet and scabbard are in good average condition with normal wear but without damage only slight hammers to pommel end/heel. Has serial number 686 to crossguard with the font and size indicating New Zealand service. Scabbard is a cut-down No. 1. (Reference BCB B230)
